Pool Party

My family got together at our uncle Mike's house to have a pool party and I was lucky enough to be able to go (since i work every weekend). It was a lot of fun and great to see everybody! Thanks uncle Mike for being so generous and letting our family use your pool all the time!

Grandma and Grandpa Craven

Shay and Wendy

Adam's little girls Chloe and Shannon were able to come up from Arizona and stay at my mom's house. It was great being able to spend time with them. They are so adorable.

Elora just loved holding Rascal and did not want to put him down

My dad actually holding Rascal!! He's not much of an animal person, but I think deep down he likes our little puppy.

The newest addition to our family!

A baby??!! I wish.....It's a new puppy!
We were so sad to have to give our dog lucky away but our place was too small for such a large dog. He didn't have any room to roam or just run free. He now lives with a friend of mines sister and is happy as can be.

Our New Puppy's name is Rascal! He is a purebred dachshund. I never thought in my life that I would own a wiener dog but he is the cutest, funnest puppy. We got him when he was just 10 weeks old weighing 4lbs. He used to pee/poop everywhere and we had the hardest time setting up a schedule for him.

Rascal is now almost 17 weeks old weighing 6.7lbs and has been potty trained for weeks now. He is so good that we take him out right before we go to bed, he does his business, and then walks straight to his crate and climbs into his bed and doesn't make a peep all night. Here are some fun pictures of our little Rascal

My favorite things about him are
1.When he runs his back legs run to the side of him.
2.When he runs it looks like his back legs are trying to catch up.
3.He's so cuddly
4.He's small enough that family loves him and he wont jump up and push the little kids over.
5.He's low maintenance.
6.He keeps Chad company when I am working nights/weekends.
7.He gets so excited to see us when we get home
8.I love the pitter patter of his feet.

January 2010

The holidays have come and gone and it was fun to go shopping for gifts, spend time with family at all of the family Christmas parties, and just bask in the warmth of the true meaning of Christmas. I love Christmas time, I love the smells, I love the decorations, and I love how people go out of their way to be nice to one another this time of year. (In most cases) Chad and I had a light Christmas this year because January 2010 we bought a Townhouse! We now live in a little community that we love despite there never being any parking, or having the fear that if we invite people over their car will get towed...It's happened already! Here are a few pics of our new place

Don't be jealous that our backyard is ginormous!! lol

Anniversary 2009

My wonderful husband surprised me for our anniversary last September and took me out to dinner and to stay the night up in Salt Lake at Anniversary Inn. We stayed in the Romeo and Juliet themed room. It was so sweet and we had such a great time.

For breakfast they left us this tray of delicious food

It's been a tradition each year to stay at one of the bed and breakfasts with the themed rooms. Our third year anniversary is coming up and i'm excited to see what Chad surprises we with for this year. Besides a trip to Hawaii that is :)

Oh boy, where do I even start...

It's exciting to say that I have almost been a nurse for a whole year! I have been working two jobs, one is at Utah Valley Specialty Hosptial,

the other is in an OB office down in Provo. Both Jobs are completely different and I just feel that I am learning so much. The first couple months were definitely hard because I was doing two totally different fields of nursing and I was so new to the whole nursing experience. But I will say that it has been amazing and I am so grateful for the field I work in.
